Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Renovator to join our construction and restoration team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various aspects of building, renovation, and repair work, with the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics. This role involves transforming spaces through carpentry, masonry, flooring, and other renovation techniques to meet client specifications and project standards. The Renovator will work on diverse projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial sites, ensuring quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety protocols.
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to plan renovation tasks effectively.
- Install cabinets, flooring (including tile laying), siding, and other finishing components.
- Plaster/paint
- Conduct restoration projects involving drywall repair, painting (including construction painting), caulking, and surface finishing.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely for various tasks such as carpentry, woodworking, assembly, plumbing, electrical work, and general construction.
- Assist with construction estimating by assessing project scope and materials needed.
- Execute heavy lifting tasks safely to move materials or equipment around job sites.
- Follow schematics and technical drawings for precise installation of systems like HVAC or electrical components when applicable.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.Requirements
- Proven experience in construction, renovation, or related fields such as carpentry, masonry, roofing, or drywall installation.
- Knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics is essential.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery (nice-to-have), and other construction equipment.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks consistently.
- Strong understanding of construction estimating processes is advantageous.
- Skilled in working with various materials including wood, concrete, drywall, siding materials, and tiles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail in restoration projects.
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while adhering to safety standards. Pay: $40.00-$45.00 per hour
