Teaching Qualification Requirements (TQRs):
Education:
1. Master educator with an MA in a relevant field (e.g. Visual Art Education) and/or extensive relevant experience as an artist-educator with a background in visual arts.
2. PhD or equivalent in a relevant field is an asset.
Experience:
2. Previous successful experience teaching similar course(s) at the undergraduate or graduate level.
3.Experience as a visual arts teacher/instructor in the Quebec educational system.
4.Familiarity with the Professional Competencies specified by the Ministère de l’Éducation.
Other:
1. Knowledge of the impact and proven record integrating pedagogical approaches anchored to equity, diversity and inclusion.
2. Familiarity using myCourses, ZOOM and other similar online platforms to facilitate quality teaching and learning experiences.
3. Familiarity teaching blended classes is an asset.
4. Familiarity with the application of a variety of digital teaching and learning tools.
