Carpet Cleaning Technician — $22–$24/hour Gross
Unstained Cleaning Services is hiring a reliable and professional Carpet Cleaning Technician to join our team in Toronto and the GTA.
We are looking for someone who can represent the company professionally at client locations, operate cleaning equipment safely, follow service procedures, and deliver high-quality results. This is a client-facing role that requires reliability, attention to detail, physical ability, and a strong work ethic.
Pay and Employment Details
Pay: $22.00–$24.00 CAD per hour, gross, based on experience and ability
Employment type: Hourly employee
Payroll: Bi-weekly payroll, generally paid on Wednesdays
Payment method: E-transfer initially
Location: Toronto and GTA job sites
Schedule: Daytime work, with occasional extended hours when needed
Start date: As soon as possible for the right candidate
This is a payroll employee position. Standard deductions such as CPP, EI, income tax, and other applicable deductions will apply. A paystub will be provided for each pay period.
Responsibilities
- Perform professional carpet cleaning services at residential and commercial job sites
- Perform upholstery and mattress cleaning when required
- Prepare equipment, hoses, tools, and cleaning products for each job
- Operate carpet cleaning equipment safely and properly
- Pre-vacuum, pre-spray, agitate, extract, rinse, and groom carpets as required
- Identify stains, heavy soil, pet issues, and potential service limitations
- Protect client property, walls, floors, furniture, and belongings during service
- Communicate professionally with clients
- Follow company checklists and service standards
- Report damages, equipment issues, client concerns, or unusual situations immediately
- Keep equipment, tools, and vehicle area clean and organized
Requirements
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to follow procedures and cleaning standards
- Comfortable working in client homes and commercial spaces
- Able to perform physical work, including lifting, bending, kneeling, pulling hoses, and carrying equipment such as portable carpet extractors and agitation machines, often as part of a two-person team
- Able to work independently or with a team
- Professional communication skills
- Available to work in Toronto and the GTA
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, restoration, or cleaning experience
- Experience using extractors, wands, hoses, rotary machines, or spotting products
- Reliable transportation to meet at designated work locations
- Experience working in client homes
- Long-term availability
- Interest in growing into a lead technician role

Important Notes
- The employee will be placed on payroll.
- Standard deductions such as CPP, EI, income tax, and other applicable deductions will apply.
- A paystub will be provided for each pay period.
- Smoking is not permitted during breaks when the client is home or present at the client location.
- Personal phone use is not permitted during paid working time except for emergencies or work-related communication.
- Paid time, breaks, travel time, and payroll will follow company policy and Ontario employment standards.
