Key Responsibilities
Gummy Cooking & Formulation
- Prepare and cook cannabis-infused gummy recipes according to approved formulations and SOPs
- Accurately measure and incorporate ingredients, including cannabis extracts, flavorings, and functional additives
- Monitor critical cooking parameters (temperature, timing, viscosity, pH, and Brix) to ensure batch consistency
- Troubleshoot formulation or texture issues and recommend process improvements
Machine Operation & Maintenance
- Operate gummy production equipment, including cookers, depositors, molds, conveyors, and cooling systems
- Perform routine preventive maintenance, calibration, and cleaning of machinery
- Identify equipment issues, perform basic repairs, and coordinate advanced maintenance as needed
- Maintain detailed production and maintenance logs
Curing, Finishing & Quality Control
- Oversee curing, drying, and conditioning of gummies to achieve target texture, shelf stability, and appearance
- Monitor humidity, temperature, and time parameters during curing processes
- Inspect finished products for quality, potency consistency, and visual defects
- Collaborate with QA/QC teams on sampling, testing, and corrective actions
Leadership & Compliance
- Lead by example in maintaining clean, organized, and food-safe production environments
- Follow all GPP, sanitation, and state cannabis regulatory requirements
- Train and mentor production staff on proper procedures, machine use, and safety standards
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in cannabis edible production, with a strong focus on gummies
- Hands-on knowledge of industrial cooking processes and equipment operation
- Experience with machine maintenance and troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment
- Understanding of curing/drying processes for gummies or similar confectionery products
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Ability to lift production materials and stand for extended periods
- Willingness to work in a regulated cannabis environment and maintain compliance
Preferred Qualifications
- Confectionery, food science, or culinary background
- Familiarity with GPP, HACCP, or food safety programs
- Experience scaling production from small to large batch sizes
- Leadership or team lead experience in manufacturing

Pay: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per hour
