We are currently seeking experienced Supply Teachers to join our team and provide classroom support across our schools.

Position
Experienced Supply Teacher (On-Call/Casual)
Locations: Multiple Montessori school / Childcare locations throughout the Peel Region.
Responsibilities
- Provide classroom coverage for Toddler and Casa (Preschool) programs as required.
- Maintain a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment.
- Support the implementation of Montessori philosophy and classroom routines.
- Foster respectful, nurturing relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Supervise children in accordance with Ministry licensing requirements and school policies.
- Assist with classroom management, daily routines, transitions, and outdoor play.
- Ensure health, safety, and sanitation procedures are consistently followed.
- Complete all required documentation and communicate professionally with the school administration.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a licensed childcare centre or Montessori school is required.
- Montessori training (AMI, MACTE equivalent) is considered a strong asset.
- Early Childhood Education (ECE) diploma and RECE membership are considered an asset.
- Strong understanding of child development and positive guidance practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to different classrooms and age groups.
- Professional, reliable, punctual, and flexible.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
Requirements
Successful candidates must have or be willing to obtain:
- Valid Standard First Aid & CPR-C certification.
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check.
- Up-to-date immunization records as required by the Child Care and Early Years Act.
- Medical clearance/TB documentation, if applicable.
- CCEYA Certificate
- WHMIS Certificate
- Availability to travel between our Peel Region locations.
