Location: Century Hyundai Saint John
Century Auto Group is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized individual to join our growing team as a Payroll Coordinator & Used Vehicle Administration Assistant based out of Century Hyundai Saint John. This position will report directly to the Group Payroll & Benefits Manager and will play an important role in supporting payroll operations across multiple dealerships while also assisting the Director of Used Vehicles with administrative and accounting-related tasks tied to used vehicle purchases and intercompany activity. Key Responsibilities
Payroll Coordination
· Assist with the processing of payroll for employees across multiple dealership locations
· Support the transition and centralization of payroll-related functions within the group
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records within HRIS and payroll systems
· Assist with payroll reconciliations and investigate discrepancies when required
· Respond to employee payroll and benefit inquiries in a professional and timely manner
· Support compliance with federal and provincial payroll regulations and company policies
· Assist with payroll reporting, audits, and year-end processes
· Work closely with accounting and HR teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency
Used Vehicle Administration
· Support the Director of Used Vehicles with administrative and accounting-related tasks
· Assist with used vehicle purchase documentation and tracking
· Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions related to vehicle purchases and transfers
· Coordinate documentation flow between dealerships and external parties
· Monitor vehicle registration documentation and follow up on outstanding items
· Liaise with Service New Brunswick and other agencies to ensure timely and accurate processing
· Maintain organized records and assist with reporting as required
Qualifications & Experience
· Previous experience in payroll, accounting, administration, or a related role preferred
· Experience with payroll systems such as Payworks, DriveHR, or PBS is considered an asset
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
· High level of professionalism and confidentiality
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
· Accounting or dealership experience is considered an asset
· Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation, or willingness to obtain, is considered favourable
