Responsibilities
- Hauling aggregates (sand, stone, gravel etc) locally-
- Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating company vehicles.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and other relevant information.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members regarding delivery status and any issues or concerns that may arise.
Qualifications:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with the appropriate endorsements for the type of truck being operated with a copy of your
- Proven experience operating dump trucks- 3 YEARS MINIMUM.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to truck driving.
- Ability to load and unload freight using proper techniques and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.
Skills:
- Experience driving dump trucks- 3 YEARS MINIMUM
