Hootz Glass & Vape is a retail vape shop that specializes in vaping products as well as cannabis accessories. We pride ourselves in delivering excellent customer service and customer satisfaction. We are looking for a part-time sales associate with a positive attitude that wants to grow with us.
This position has room for growth, adding additional responsibilities (and extra pay that comes with the added responsibilities).
Work starts with part-time. Full-time available after 1 year of employment and proper evaluation.

Full-time :
- Mon,Tues - 5PM - 9PM (Closing shift)
- Wed,Thurs,Fri - 9AM - 1PM (Opening shift)
Key Responsibilities
- Upholds and complies with company procedures, standards and policies in all situations
- Greets customers in a polite and friendly manner
- Check government issued IDs of all customers
- Process cash register payments by cash, debit, or credit card
- Process pick-up orders through POS system
- Wrap and place merchandise in bags
- Balance and reconcile cash at end of work shift
- Maintain cleanliness of floor, displays, and merchandise
- Stock various products on shelves
Required Work Experience:
- Minimum 6 months experience working as a cashier or customer service desk in a retail environment
Required Education:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Ability to learn about various products and ability to learn pros/cons of various products to aid customers
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment with some multi tasking
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in both oral and written form
- Possess strong customer service qualities
- Possess strong problem solving skills
- Works in a safe and responsible manner
- Detail oriented
- Evening and weekend availability
Physical Requirements:
- Occasional lifting of items up to 20 lbs
- Constant standing
- Constant computer and point of sale system use
- Frequent bending and reaching for shelves
Preferred Qualifications and Assets:
- Experience working in a cannabis related industry
- Experience working in a vape related industry
- Experience working at a retail environment where age-restricted items are sold (lottery, liquor, tobacco)
- Proficiency with computers and technology
- Knowledge in vaping and smoking accessories
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.25-$25.00 per hour
