Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their ordering process using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, maintaining high-quality presentation and taste
- Operate cash registers, handle cash transactions accurately, and perform cashiering duties including cash handling and change management
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas, adhering to food safety regulations and sanitation protocols
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely food preparation and service delivery
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, demonstrating familiarity with food preparation and serving techniques
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cashiering functions
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and inventory management
- Understanding of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods
- Kitchen experience that includes food preparation, cooking, or related activities is highly desirable
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a friendly demeanor
