Pastiche is a vibrant, elevated bistro and wine-bar, bringing classic French flavors and culinary traditions of Montreal to life with a modern twist, focusing on local seasonal ingredients and a deep rooted connection to community. At its core the concept is interpretations of food and beverage that we ourselves love to eat and drink. In the kitchen we believe in 'from scratch' cooking, respect for the ingredient and zero waste - these practices will be carried through the beverage program. The Role
We are seeking passionate and detail oriented servers and bartenders to join our team. In these roles, you will take full ownership of guest experience, be given to tools you need to excel, and be empowered to handle anything that may arise.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience serving in fine dining, upscale, or high-volume restaurant. Experience creating and making cocktails is a must for Bartenders.
- Background: Solid foundational knowledge of food, wine and service, along with a genuine passion and interest for food, wine and hospitality.
- Expectations: Ownership of guest experience, a focus on hospitality over service.
- Knowledge: At Pastiche, we believe product knowledge and a good attitude are key to excellent service. Strong knowledge of wine, along with a willingness to learn more is a big plus.
- Team First Mindset: At Pastiche there is no "us" and "them" - we work with a one-team mindset, taking accountability, and an openness to feedback are key to success.
- Availability: We can offer a flexible schedule within our open hours, which will be 3-11 PM Tuesday to Sunday.
