Overview
High-Definition Concrete seeking an experienced Concrete / Civil Superintendent to oversee field operations, maintain quality standards, and help ensure our projects run efficiently and safely.
The Services Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations across multiple projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and technical knowledge in concrete formwork, placing, and finishing.
The successful candidate will regularly travel between project sites and work closely with internal teams, project managers, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure projects run smoothly, efficiently, and according to schedule
- Conduct quality checks and inspections for formwork, concrete placing, and finishing to ensure workmanship meets company and project standards
- Coordinate and communicate daily with the Services Coordinator, Placing Superintendent, and Project Managers to ensure labour, scheduling, and site requirements are aligned
- Act as a key point of communication with clients, site representatives, consultants, and general contractors
- Identify and proactively resolve site issues to minimize delays and deficiencies
- Complete written quality inspections, site summaries, and project updates as required
- Monitor project progress and provide feedback on manpower, scheduling, and performance
- Ensure company safety expectations and site procedures are followed
- Travel to multiple job sites throughout the Lower Mainland (typically 1–4 job sites per day)
- Perform occasional office-based work including reporting, planning, and coordination as required
- Work with the project managers and general managers to review budget requirements and perform project reviews
Requirements:
- Experience in concrete, civil construction, or related field supervision/superintendent roles
- Strong understanding of formwork, concrete placing, finishing, and civil concrete construction practices
- Ability to read drawings and identify quality or constructability issues
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple active projects and priorities
- Strong problem-solving and leadership abilities
- Valid BC Driver’s License

- Yearly salary of $110,000 - $125,000 based on experience
