WHO WE ARE
The Catholic Independent Schools of the Vancouver Archdiocese (the CISVA) operates 46 schools – 40 elementary and 6 high schools. Our schools are located throughout the Greater Vancouver Area, near the best sites and attractions that Vancouver and British Columbia has to offer. Our footprint extends over 250 kilometers from Powell River in the west to Chilliwack in the east.

ABOUT
Corpus Christi Elementary School is a fun and joyful faith community centered on Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist. We integrate our shared Catholic faith in our daily lives, through the celebration of the Mass, prayer, and liturgical celebrations. Together with the support of parents and our parish community, our educators and support staff are committed to providing a Catholic learning environment where children may grow as unique individuals and develop spiritually, physically, intellectually, and socially to become caring members of society. At Corpus Christi, we have many extra-curricular programs and local outreach opportunities for our staff and students to get involved with. Corpus Christi School is seeking a Grade 5/Resource Teacher
We invite applicants to join our Christian community who can:

Work collaboratively with colleagues, develop positive relationships with students that instill a sense of belonging and connection.

Nurture students’ cognitive, social, and emotional growth while empowering students to be active agents of their own learning

Use student-centred, inquiry-based approaches to teaching, learning, and assessment that align with the philosophy and framework of the grade 5 CISVA Christian Education Curriculum and the BC Ministry of Education Curriculum.

On an on-going basis, we accept teacher applications for grade levels K to 12 for our Catholic schools throughout the Greater Vancouver Area and Powell River in beautiful British Columbia. All Catholics, non-Catholics, new education grads, and experienced teachers from across Canada are strongly encouraged to apply.
