We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Automotive Service Advisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking automotive services, ensuring a seamless experience from initial inquiry to service completion. Your mechanical knowledge and customer service skills will be essential in providing accurate information about repairs and maintenance, while also promoting additional services that enhance vehicle performance and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their automotive service needs.
- Utilize your trained technical knowledge to provide accurate information regarding vehicle repairs and maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with customers about service recommendations, ensuring they understand the benefits of suggested services.
- Upsell additional services based on customer needs and vehicle condition, contributing to overall sales goals.
- Prepare and present estimates for repair work, ensuring clarity in pricing and services offered.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly, maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism, striving for high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Maintain organized records of customer interactions, service history, and follow-up communications.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within the automotive industry or dealership environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to automotive repair is essential.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
- Ability to upsell services effectively while understanding customer needs.
- Experience with cash handling procedures is preferred.
- A background as a mechanic or in automotive repair is a plus but not required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn about new products and services in the automotive field.
Starts at $18/hour with a very rewarding commission program.
