Job Summary:
Macrodyne Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accounts Payable Analyst to support the company’s financial operations through accurate invoice processing, account reconciliations, and financial reporting. This role will play a key part in maintaining strong vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with company procedures, and providing financial insights to support operational and management decision-making.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
· Process vendor invoices accurately and timely
· Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents
· Verify approvals and coding of invoices before processing
· Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
· Perform vendor and corporate credit card reconciliations
· Maintain vendor records and update banking information
· Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payments and account status
· Monitor payment due dates to avoid late fees and maintain cash flow
· Ensure compliance with company policies and approval procedures
· Coordinate with purchasing and receiving departments for invoice issues
· Assist with expense reports and employee reimbursements
· Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems
· Analyze product and job costing data to prepare monthly job profitability and margin reports.
· Monitor and analyze operating expenses, variances, and financial trends to support management decision-making.
· Prepare monthly financial analysis reports and provide insights on cost control and operational performance.
· Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies to ensure accuracy of financial records.
· Collaborate with operations and management teams to improve reporting accuracy and financial processes.
Qualifications
· Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
· Minimum 3–5 years of experience in accounts payable, accounting, or financial analysis
· Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment considered an asset
· Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reconciliation processes
· Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
· Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail and accuracy
· Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
· Experience with job costing and financial reporting is preferred
