Child and Family Therapist / Psychotherapist/Counsellor

About the Role:
We are currently seeking a Registered Psychotherapist or Registered Social Worker to join our growing team. This role focuses on providing high-quality therapy for children, teens, and families – either in-person or virtually, based on the client’s preference and availability.
We are currently hiring for our East End location (in Orleans), with additional opportunities available in Nepean area in Ottawa.
Position Type: Contractor
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct intake consultations with new clients
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide evidence-based therapy for children, youth, parents, and families
- Deliver parent coaching and psychoeducation to strengthen family functioning
- Support clients with emotional regulation, behavior challenges, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, school-related stress, autism, and daily living skills
- Maintain clear, concise, and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with families, schools, and community partners as needed
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Psychotherapy, Social Work, Counselling, or a related field
- Registered and in good standing with the CRPO or OCSWSSW
- Experience working with children, youth, and families (clinical or community-based)
- Training in at least one modality.
- Professional liability insurance is required.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Comfortable providing virtual therapy and using digital documentation systems
Compensation:
$85 to $100 per hour.
