Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Farm Labourer to join our agricultural team. This role involves hands-on work in planting, maintaining, and harvesting crops, as well as supporting various farm operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and a passion for outdoor farming activities. This position offers an opportunity to gain practical experience in horticulture and farm management while contributing to the success of our farm operations.
Responsibilities
- Assist with planting, watering, and cultivating crops using appropriate tools and techniques
- Operate irrigation systems to ensure proper water distribution across fields
- Perform general gardening tasks including pruning, weeding, and mulching
- Use hand tools such as shovels, hoes, and rakes for various farm activities
- Support crop harvesting and post-harvest handling processes
- Maintain clean and organized work areas to promote safety and efficiency
- Assist with minor mechanical repairs or adjustments to farm equipment when necessary
- Help with loading and unloading supplies or produce as needed
- Follow safety protocols during all farm activities, including heavy lifting and equipment operation
