Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our finance team in Richmond, BC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring the integrity of financial data using various accounting software. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in accounting and bookkeeping to contribute to the financial health of our organization.
This role will be required to do bookkeeping and accounting for 2 different businesses.
Duties
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including data entry and transaction recording
- Receive, verify, and process invoices; track collections and payments.
- Record daily transactions in accounting software
- Process payroll and ensure timely payments to employees and vendors
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation to verify accuracy of financial data
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities
- Assist in budgeting processes and financial reporting
- Maintain organized records of invoices, receipts, and other financial documents
- Support audit preparations by providing necessary documentation and reports
Experience
- Proven experience in bookkeeping and Administration or a related field
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Knowledge of account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and account analysis techniques
- Experience with account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and account analysis
- Knowledge of accounts payable and receivable management
- Ability to handle multiple tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Prior experience with budgeting is a plus
