Job Overview
The Whiteout Group Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shop Administrator to oversee daily operations within our heavy duty truck/transport repair shop. This role requires a proactive individual capable of managing administrative tasks, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring smooth workflow. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience with shop operations, and familiarity with supply chain and procurement processes. Duties
- Manage and update maintenance and repair records
- Coordinate procurement of parts, tools, and supplies through sourcing, negotiation, and purchasing activities
- Oversee inventory levels, track parts usage, and facilitate demand planning to ensure availability of necessary materials
- Assist with scheduling trucks and equipment for repairs and maintenance
- Handle data entry related to work orders, maintenance records, invoices, and inventory transactions with accuracy
- Support the shop team by managing supply chain logistics and ensuring timely delivery of parts and equipment
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate terms, pricing, and sourcing strategies for cost-effective procurement
- Ensure proper documentation of all shop activities in accordance with company policies
Experience
- Prior experience in dealership or automotive repair shop administration is highly preferred
- Strong background in data entry, purchasing, procurement, and supply chain management
- Proficient in microsoft sheets
- Knowledge of mechanical systems or related technical areas is advantageous
- Experience working with sourcing negotiations and demand planning strategies
- Customer service experience to effectively communicate with internal teams
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $19.00-$24.00 per hour
