Email marketing campaigns specialist:
The email marketing specialist is passionate about perfecting the customer experience. He/she is a motivated individual responsible for the implementation and execution of data-driven email marketing campaigns for all the enterprise brands. The candidate works with cross functional teams including Marketing, Acquisition, E-Commerce and CRM teams. He/she is directly responsible for developing programs and reporting that will support client acquisition, retention and revenue growth opportunities. He/she is utilizing campaign management software, segment audiences, and email service provider tools to launch email campaigns.
Responsibilities:
Grow customer list
Ensure email capture at key customer journey interactions in order to build and maintain a growing list of subscribers;
Manage and evolve customer preference centres;
Campaign planning
Collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams across the company (E-commerce, Marketing) to gather necessary components for creating and deploying newly automated email campaigns according to deadlines;
Leverage key customer data point insights and work with the E-commerce team to integrate personalization programs from brief to automation implementation;
Liaise with the Marketing and operations teams to facilitate and execute customer promotions and incentives for customer acquisition and retention purposes;
Drive new revenue streams through email campaign optimizations;
Constantly strive to find new revenue streams from enterprise subscriber bases;
Campaign execution
Manage the end-to-end deployment of multiple customer campaigns including targeted and personalized promotional campaigns and automated lifecycle programs;
Working with Exact Target capabilities, build email campaign journeys from start to finish, including mapping business rules into data logic, flow integration, QA and deployment;
Manage e-mail and push notification campaigns while ensuring engagement as related to key communication objectives;
Tracking and reporting
Facilitate A/B and multi-variant tests across marketing channels to optimize dynamic content, subject lines, deployment times and promotional offers;
Analyze email campaign results, reports on the main metrics and optimize future campaigns based on these learnings;
Support channels in testing and implement new test and automated email programs;
Stay ahead of constant evolving trends in email marketing.
Qualifications and competencies:
Bachelor's degree in Communication, advertising or Marketing;
5 years of experience in email marketing with demonstrated success in managing highly targeted direct response and integrated email marketing programs;
Retail and Fashion experience a plus;
Experience using a major email marketing platform (i.e.: ExactTarget, MailChimp, Cheetahmail);
Proficient in Google Analytics, Excel, etc.;
Clear understanding of CASL requirements;
Experience working with cross-functional teams including Marketing, e-commerce, etc.;
Proven track record in email quality assurance across all the main email service providers, catching mistakes and inconsistencies before deployment;
Business acumen;
Bilingual: French & English (written and spoken).
