Our client is seeking an experienced SAP SD Functional Lead to design, configure, and support SAP S/4HANA Sales & Distribution (SD) solutions within a mining and industrial operations environment. The successful candidate will bring strong functional expertise, business process knowledge, and experience delivering enhancements and production support in an AMS environment.
What's the Job?
- Design, configure, and support SAP S/4HANA Sales & Distribution (SD) solutions to meet business requirements.
- Lead delivery of SAP Sales enhancements, change requests, and production support activities within an AMS environment.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective functional solution designs.
- Configure and support core SAP SD processes, including:
- Sales Orders
- Pricing
- Shipping
- Delivery
- Billing
- Ensure seamless integration of SAP S/4HANA Sales solutions with existing enterprise systems and cross-functional SAP modules.
- Provide functional consulting support by applying business process expertise and industry knowledge.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Support testing, deployment, and validation of system enhancements and process improvements.
- Maintain documentation related to configurations, processes, and support activities.
What's Needed?
- 8+ years of hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Sales & Distribution (SD), including design, implementation, and support.
- Proven experience delivering SAP Sales enhancements, change requests, and production issue resolution.
- Strong experience gathering business requirements and translating them into functional solution designs.
- Experience integrating SAP S/4HANA Sales with enterprise systems and existing application landscapes.
- Strong understanding of SAP SD business processes and the complete Order-to-Cash (O2C) lifecycle.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting mining, metals, manufacturing, or other industrial operations.
- Experience designing SAP S/4HANA Sales solution architecture and integration strategies.
- Proven ability to identify business process improvement opportunities and optimize solution design.
- Experience supporting Application Management Services (AMS) engagements.
- Strong understanding of SAP integrations and cross-functional business processes.
