Hendry Heating Limited is a well-established family operated HVAC company in business for over 60 years. We are currently seeking a highly organized and detailed oriented candidate that would provide essential administrative support to ensure smooth office operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong bookkeeping and administrative experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accounts payable and process accounts receivable
- Prepare customer invoices, progress billings, and payment follow-ups
- Track project costs, labour costs, and job costing reports
- Maintain subcontractor and supplier payment records
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial reporting
- Prepare statutory declarations and other project-related documentation
Qualifications
- Minimum 2–5 years of accounting experience
- Experience in construction or mechanical contracting industry preferred
- Knowledge of payroll processing, WSIB, HST, and job costing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and accounting software
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Office experience at least 2 years
- Knowledge of basic accounting
