Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pest Technician to join our team. This role involves inspecting, identifying, and treating pest issues in residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of pest control methods, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Prior experience with sales, hand tools, farm machinery, or power tools is a plus. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest activity and entry points
- Develop and implement customized pest control treatment plans based on inspection findings
- Apply pesticides and other treatment methods safely and effectively following industry standards and regulations
- Maintain detailed records of treatments performed and client interactions
- Educate clients on pest prevention strategies and answer any questions they may have
- Operate various hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery as needed for treatment applications or property access
- Assist in the maintenance and calibration of equipment used in pest control procedures
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times to protect clients, staff, and the environment
Experience
- Prior experience in pest control or related field preferred but not required; training will be provided for qualified candidates
- Knowledge of sales techniques is advantageous for promoting services and upselling treatments
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, or similar equipment is beneficial for efficient job performance
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various outdoor and indoor environments
- Valid driver’s license preferred for travel between job sites

Pay: $3,500.00-$4,000.00 per month
