Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and licensed Mechanic to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automotive repair, maintenance, and diagnostics, with a strong background in dealership settings preferred. This role involves performing repairs, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring vehicles meet safety and quality standards. The Licensed Mechanic will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service by providing reliable and efficient vehicle repairs and maintenance.
Requirements
- Valid Automotive Service Technician (310S) License
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a licensed mechanic
- Experience working on diesel trucks and light-duty trucks
- Knowledge and experience performing Ontario Safety Standards Inspections
- Valid G Driver's Licence with a clean driving record
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel and light-duty trucks
- Perform Safety Standards Inspections and complete required documentation
- Conduct mechanical repairs, maintenance, and inspections
- Ensure all work meets manufacturer and safety standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work efficiently to meet production deadlines
