Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated 310T Apprentice or Licensed 310T Truck and Coach Technician to join our service team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong mechanical background to develop their skills in a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty trucks and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards. Prior experience performing basic diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on diesel engines, braking systems, suspension, and electrical systems is required.
Duties
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on truck and coach systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, schematics, and diagnostic equipment to identify issues accurately
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and system inspections
- Operate heavy machinery and industrial equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery when necessary
- Assist with the assembly and disassembly of vehicle components during repairs or upgrades
- Maintain detailed service records and ensure all work complies with safety regulations
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical or electrical problems
- Support customer service efforts by providing clear communication about repairs and maintenance needs
Qualifications
- Valid 310T Apprentice or Licensed 310T Truck and Coach Technician certification or equivalent experience
- Mechanical knowledge of heavy-duty trucks, industrial equipment, and farm machinery
- Experience with HVAC systems, welding, electrical systems, schematics reading, and heavy lifting is a plus
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, diagnostic scanners, and maintenance equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and safety standards
- Excellent customer service skills are desirable for communicating effectively with clients and team members
- English and French language is an asset.
