Shawmut Equipment of Canada is an authorized Grove, Manitowoc, National and Potain Crane distributor seeking a motivated, dependable and accurate individual for parts sales and inventory maintenance for Elmsdale, Nova Scotia based office.
Shawmut Equipment of Canada is a specialized crane dealership that sells, rents, and services Manitowoc, Grove, National, and Potain branded equipment. Shawmut has been operating in Atlantic Canada for more than 20 years.
Key Skills
This role is customer facing and involves working with key accounts. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills above all else.
- Clear professional communication with customers.
- Effective organization and keep track of multiple orders.
- Strong time-management to prioritize tasks and focus on time-sensitive projects.
- Attention to detail when placing orders or invoicing customers.
Key Responsibilities
Shawmut Equipment of Canada is a small team, which means the role of a Parts Coordinator is broad. The core responsibilities include:
- Working directly with customers by email, phone, and in person to help them find and purchase parts.
- Shipping and receiving parts, as well as managing the warehouse/local inventory.
- Handling international shipments to and from the US and EU.
- Analyzing sales and inventory numbers to place stock orders.
- Researching and reading technical documentation to answer customer questions and locate parts.
- Working with suppliers to order/research parts and place orders.
- Completing an annual return and annual inventory count.
