Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Driver/Labourer to join our team. This role involves operating a 1 Ton Cube Van to deliver materials and assisting with various labour tasks on-site. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, capable of heavy lifting, and possess a valid class 5 driving license. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to our operations while gaining valuable experience in a dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up materials or equipment as required.
- Assist with loading and unloading items with power tailgate, ensuring proper handling and safety procedures.
- Perform general labour tasks including pressure washing, site cleanup, material movement, and equipment setup.
- Operate basic power hand tools to install metal components.
- Follow all safety protocols during transportation and on-site activities.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of assigned vehicles.
- Collaborate with team members to complete daily tasks efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications
- Valid class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks outdoors throughout the year.
- Prior experience in driving or labour work is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to safety standards.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
