Want to build cool stuff? Defined Designs is seeking a skilled custom builder fabricator, to join our team.
In this position, you’ll be exposed to the some of the most exciting brands and companies from around the globe. You will use your advanced methods for custom building and be able to help support our company’s vision of delivering assets of the highest quality to our customers and clients. No build is the same here!
Qualifications / Requirements:
· High school diploma or a GED equivalent
· Own transportation, not on bus route
· At least three years of experience in fabrication, building or cabinetmaking
· Ability to comprehend blueprints and work specifications
· Physical ability to lift at least 50 pounds or more
· Ability to think outside the box
· Problem solving skills
· Able to work independently and/or with a team
· Understanding of construction tasks and industrial processes
· Excellent color vision and hand dexterity
Job Responsibilities:
· Review drawings and work together with the team on custom builds.
· Able to foresee and flag concerns through the build of a project
· Work with all types of materials (wood, metal, plastic….)
· Work together to come up with fabrication details that will bring our clients vision to life that also work within their budget.
· Confidently handle power tools, such as table saws, drills, jig saws, skill saws, and routers to cut, form and adjust materials
· Review provided renderings or drawings and suggest/recommend alternative build techniques that could improve efficiency and quality of product
· Quality Check measurements and dimensions of each piece that’s being worked on
