Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks with precision and flair as a skilled barista.
- Take orders accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, process transactions efficiently, and handle cash or card payments with basic math skills.
- Assist in food preparation and food handling to ensure quality standards are met while maintaining food safety regulations.
- Serve food and beverages to customers in a friendly, timely manner, ensuring excellent customer service at all times.
- Manage multiple responsibilities including cashiering, food service, and maintaining cleanliness of work areas.
- Support the team during busy periods by assisting with food prep, serving tables, or other duties as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines related to food handling, hygiene practices, and workplace safety.
Experience
- Previous experience working in the food industry or hospitality environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Barista experience is highly desirable; familiarity with coffee preparation techniques is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately.
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is advantageous.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is important for ensuring compliance and guest satisfaction.
