Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various structures and systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of construction principles, excellent craftsmanship, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Installer will ensure that all projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine installation requirements.
- Use hand tools and power tools to assemble, install, or repair structures and fixtures.
- Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks safely and efficiently.
- Apply caulking and sealing techniques to ensure proper insulation and weatherproofing.
- Measure, cut, and fit materials accurately according to project specifications.
- Coordinate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
- Troubleshoot installation issues on-site and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction, carpentry, or handyman roles is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings.
- Hands-on experience with power tools, caulking, heavy lifting, and general construction practices.
- Prior experience in installation projects involving various building materials is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or as part of a team on complex projects.
