Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing effective treatment plans to improve patients' mobility and overall well-being. This role involves working with diverse patient populations, including pediatrics and individuals in acute care settings, to promote recovery and enhance quality of life. The Physiotherapist will collaborate with medical staff to deliver personalized patient care in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions and develop tailored treatment plans.
- Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other modalities to facilitate recovery.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly to optimize outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, rehabilitation techniques, and health maintenance.
- Document patient interactions accurately in medical records while adhering to confidentiality standards.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Assist in the development of patient education materials and participate in team meetings to improve service delivery.
Requirements
- Valid licensure or certification as a licensed Physiotherapist in Alberta.
- Prior experience working in Clinical settings, particularly in outpatients, is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and current physiotherapy practices.
- Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate patient care across diverse populations.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to healthcare regulations.
Pay: $75,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
