Position: Welder (Specialize Aluminum Tig /Pipe)
Company: Yanda Canada Ltd.
Location: Fort Saskatchewan, AB (Yanda Canada Mod Yard)
Position Overview
Yanda Canada Ltd. is seeking experienced Welder (Specialize Aluminum Tig /Pipe) to support modular fabrication in our Facility.
This role is critical to delivering high-quality aluminum pipe welding in a fast-paced oil & gas environment.
Position Details
- Rate: $47-Employee, $60-DSP
- Schedule: 6 Days On / 1 Days Off
- Hours: 10-hour shifts
- Shift: Day Shift
- Start Date: ASAP
- Pay Schedule: Bi-weekly
Key Responsibilities
- Weld aluminum piping systems to applicable codes and project specs
- Perform fit-up, tacking, and welding of aluminum pipe and components
- Work on modular assemblies and field-installed piping systems
- Interpret ISO drawings and fabrication packages
- Complete welds in accordance with WPS and QA/QC requirements
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas
- Coordinate with pipefitters, supervision, and QA/QC teams
Requirements
- Valid Journeyperson Welder Certification or equivalent experience
- Proven experience welding aluminum pipe (MIG/TIG preferred depending on scope)
- Ability to pass weld test (aluminum)
- Experience in modular fabrication
- Strong understanding of blueprints, isometrics, and weld procedures
- Physically fit and able to work in demanding conditions
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
