Bartender
Duties:
- Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take drink orders and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Prepare and mix cocktails according to established recipes and customer preferences
- Check identification to ensure legal drinking age and refuse service to intoxicated customers
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including wiping down counters, washing glassware, and restocking supplies
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register accurately
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of catering, hospitality, food service, and the food industry
- Proficient in basic math skills for measuring ingredients, calculating bills, and providing change
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
- Familiarity with operating a cash register and processing payments accurately
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
- Knowledge of retail math for pricing drinks and calculating discounts if applicable
- Understanding of brewing techniques for beer-related inquiries
