Role Overview:
The Project Engineer supports PREP and WGC in delivering products and services on time, on budget, and to a high standard. The role requires strong project management and technical capabilities to assist throughout the full project lifecycle, from proposal to delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, testing, and shipping teams to meet complex project requirements.
- Prepare quotes and coordinate service project execution for internal and external customers.
- Support and resolve quality-related issues.
- Participate in design reviews, post-build evaluations, and project strategy sessions.
- Assist with parts identification, organization, and management – both internally manufactured and outsourced.
- Purchasing of project-related materials.
- Perform field services, including site management, commissioning support, and engineering reviews.
- Request, review, and maintain quality documentation from internal and external sources.
- Ensure compliance with API, ISO, and internal quality system procedures; identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Work Location & Work Arrangement:
This role is based at our Surrey, BC engineering office.
Travel Requirements:
Occasional travel to sister companies within Canada, project sites and to the Surrey, BC location may be required

Qualifications & Experience:
- Mechanical Engineering Technologist diploma or Mechanical Engineering degree
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in energy or mining equipment preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment considered an asset.
- Familiarity with rotating equipment (gearboxes, shaft / bearing systems, mechanical power transmission components) is preferred.
- Proven project management experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to build trust and maintain professional communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Valid passport and ability to travel as needed.
- Clean driver’s abstract.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $75,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
