Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Crew Member to join our landscaping and maintenance team. This role involves working outdoors to maintain and enhance various landscape projects, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. The ideal candidate will have a passion for horticulture, gardening, and construction-related tasks, with a strong focus on teamwork and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Assist in landscape maintenance including planting, pruning, mowing, and edging
- Operate equipment such as excavators, power tools, and hand tools to perform various tasks
- Support irrigation system installation and repairs to ensure proper water distribution
- Perform gardening duties including soil preparation, planting, and mulching
- Conduct routine maintenance on tools and machinery to ensure optimal performance
- Assist with construction projects related to landscape design or site improvements
- Follow safety protocols at all times during outdoor work environments
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
Qualifications
- Experience with excavators, irrigation systems, gardening, or horticulture is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools are advantageous
- Prior experience in landscape maintenance or construction is a plus
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, digging, and operating machinery for extended periods
- Strong work ethic with attention to safety procedures and detail-oriented approach
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Team player with good communication skills and a positive attitude
Pay: From $17.60 per hour
