Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Immigration Processing Coordinator to join our legal team. This role involves managing immigration case files, ensuring accurate documentation, and coordinating communication between clients, Immigration Consultant, and government agencies. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, legal drafting abilities, and proficiency with various legal and research tools. Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and proofread immigration documents with precision to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Manage case files using CaseEasy or similar document management systems, maintaining organized and up-to-date records.
- Draft legal documents, correspondence, and reports with clarity and professionalism.
- Coordinate with clients for interviews, document submissions, and follow-up communications while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately into case management systems and maintain detailed logs of case progress.
- Assist Immigration Consultant in project management tasks related to immigration cases, including scheduling deadlines and tracking case statuses.
- File documents with government agencies accurately and timely, adhering to all procedural requirements.
- Support administrative functions such as filing, organizing paperwork, and managing correspondence efficiently.
Requirements
- Proven experience in administrative roles with clerical experience including filing, data entry, and document management.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Excellent proofreading, writing skills, and attention to detail for legal drafting and correspondence.
- Experience with LMIA processing is a must.
- Experience using CaseEasy or comparable document management systems is advantageous.
- Knowledge of project management principles as they relate to legal case workflows.
- Effective interviewing skills for client interactions and information gathering.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
- Professional demeanor with strong phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Prior experience in immigration law or related legal fields is a plus but not required.
