Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our dynamic Food Truck team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS are preferred. The Server will play a key role in delivering outstanding hospitality and supporting the overall success of our establishment.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation quality
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Ensure food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards are maintained in all service areas
- Assist with food preparation when necessary, adhering to proper food handling protocols
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Address guest inquiries or concerns professionally to ensure a positive experience
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and restaurant policies to assist guests effectively
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not required
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Square
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for processing payments and giving correct change
- Ability to upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue
- Experience with cashiering and cash handling procedures preferred
- Hospitality or guest services background is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
