· Review complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and isometric piping spools to plan efficient manufacturing routing and production schedules.
· Allocate resources and assign tasks to welders, fabricators, and machinists based on project priorities, skill levels, and machine availability.
· Monitor production timelines to ensure custom projects are completed on schedule and within budget without sacrificing quality.
· Collaborate with engineering, quality control, and procurement departments to resolve design or material issues proactively.
· Quality Assurance & ASME Code Compliance
· Enforce strict adherence to ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code (BPVC), specifically focusing on Section VIII (Pressure Vessels), Section IX (Welding Qualifications), and B31.3 (Process Piping).
· Ensure all welding procedures (WPS) and procedure qualification records (PQR) are meticulously followed by the welding team.
· Manage material traceability, ensuring accurate tracking of heat numbers and MTRs (Material Test Reports) for all stainless-steel components.
