Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a a Cook. This role involves preparing and serving high-quality food in a fast-paced Filipino restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, knowledge & experienced Cooking Filipino dish excellent customer service skills, and a strong understanding of food safety standards. As a Cook, you will be responsible for ensuring guests receive exceptional dining experiences through efficient meal preparation and attentive service.
Duties
- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, assembling, and cooking ingredients
- Ensure all food handling procedures adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines
- Serve customers promptly and courteously, taking orders accurately
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, kitchen equipment, and dining areas
- Follow food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure quality standards are met
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth restaurant operations
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to maintain efficient workflow
Skills
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and meal assembly
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and proper handling procedures
- Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Good communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively
- Experience with food industry standards related to cooking, food handling, and sanitation
