MCL Trucking is looking for a dynamic Trucking Manager.
Responsibilities required but not limited to:
Business Development within the transportation industry to drive MCL Trucking growth.
- Build strong client relationships and help bring new clients on board.
- Coordinating daily moves which include the pre planning and post move tasks.
- Maintain accurate records which include dispatch activities, driver logs, and client interactions in accordance with company protocols.
- Oversee finance reports and ensure all projects are invoiced in a timely manner.
- Work efficiently and effectively as part of the MCL Group Ltd. and MCL Trucking team.
- Handle client inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally working towards swift resolutions to maintain high client satisfaction.
- Lead by example with a positive attitude supporting our safety culture, and to develop the trucking division safety program which is critical to obtain COR certification.
- Analyze data and generate reports on dispatch efficiency, driver performance, and client satisfaction.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices to continuously improve our dispatch and client relations processes.
Perform training of all delegated tasks required by MCL Trucking.
- Perform competency tests on all new hire drivers.
- Be able to operate/drive all truck trailer combinations.
- All tasks assigned by MCL Group management
Requirements:
- Must have extensive experience within the trucking industry.
- Experience with dispatch.
- Clean class 5 drivers licence.
- Willing and able to go out of town periodically for work.
- Must have CSTS 2020, WHMIS, and Standard First Aid
