Tammy Boyko and Carlan Wilbon with Aplin are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Payable & Payroll Coordinator for an immediate onsite temporary opportunity located in downtown Winnipeg. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage deadlines effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Process full-cycle accounts payable functions
- Process biweekly payroll
- Maintain and update employee and human resources files
- Prepare and issue checks for signatures related to payables
- Perform credit card reconciliations
- Prepare journal entries and assist with accounting records
- Ensure all payroll and payable deadlines are completed accurately and on time
- Support general accounting and administrative functions as required
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Accounting or related field
- 2 plus years of accounts payable experience
- 2 plus years of experience processing biweekly payroll
- 2 plus years of experience with
- Payworks
- QuickBooks Online
- Credit card reconciliations
- Journal entries
- Experience maintaining employee and HR files
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Criminal background check is required
