Overview
Tates protection services ,We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring access points, conducting surveillance, and preventing loss or unauthorized activity. This role is essential in maintaining a secure environment for staff, visitors, and property.
Duties
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility to deter and detect suspicious activity
- Monitor security cameras (CCTV) and surveillance systems to oversee premises effectively
- Control access points by verifying credentials and managing visitor logs
- Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, including alarms or disturbances
- Enforce company policies related to loss prevention and safety protocols
- Document incidents accurately in security reports for record-keeping purposes
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to address security concerns
- Maintain a visible presence to reassure staff and visitors of their safety
Qualifications
- Prior experience in law enforcement, security, or related fields is preferred
- Knowledge of surveillance techniques and CCTV operation
- Strong understanding of loss prevention strategies
- Excellent observational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure during emergencies
- Good communication skills for reporting incidents effectively
- Must be able to pass background checks and any required screening processes
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights or weekends if needed
