Position Overview
As a Retail Store Associate/Cashier, you will be part of a fun and hardworking team dedicated to delivering great customer experience and helping people afford everyday life. You will be the friendly face customers remember, always ready to lend a helping hand, keep shelves stocked with exciting deals, and create a welcoming shopping experience every time they visit.
From assisting customers and organizing merchandise to keeping the store looking its best, you will play a key role in the energy and success of the store. Key responsibilities:
- Deliver friendly, professional customer service by greeting customers and helping with product selection, item location, and purchase decisions
- Handle customer concerns efficiently and escalate issues when needed to ensure smooth experience
- Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and fully shoppable through zoning, recovery, and merchandising standards
- Stock, downstock, and maintain proper product placement, including modular setups and shelf resets
- Move feature merchandise to designated locations and ensure displays are accurate and well-presented
- Assist with cash register coverage to maintain efficient checkout and steady store flow during peak times
- Communicate effectively with team members to maintain consistent sales floor coverage
- Follows all safety procedures and company standards to maintain a clean, secure, hazard-free environment
- Actively champion loss prevention by staying alert, following shrink-reduction practices, and protecting store assets
- Promote store programs and initiatives to enhance customer engagement and service awareness
- Maintain cash register security, accurate cash handling, and strong attention to detail
- Escalate service, safety, or transaction concerns to the management when appropriate to ensure proper resolution
Requirements:
- 1+ year retail experience in a fast-paced customer service environment
- Strong customer service skills with experience assisting customers and resolving issues
- Experience with cash handling and register operations, including secure transaction processing
- Knowledge of stocking, zoning, merchandising, and maintaining store presentation standards
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately in a busy environment
- Understanding of loss prevention practices and commitment to store safety and asset protection
- Team-oriented with strong communication skills and ability to support store operations
- Flexible and reliable with availability for evenings, weekends, and peak business periods

- Physically be able to perform tasks that require some heavy lifting, stooping, and bending.
Pay: $18.25-$18.85 per hour
