Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for concrete pouring by cleaning, leveling, and setting forms
- Mix, pour, and spread concrete to desired consistency and finish
- Use hand tools and power tools to smooth and shape surfaces
- Apply finishing techniques such as stamping, staining, or polishing
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and use personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within specifications
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher or similar role
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools related to concrete work
- Knowledge of concrete forming techniques and carpentry skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and working in various weather conditions
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work well in a team
FIFO This position is located at a remote mine site in Northern Saskatchewan
Fall Protection, WHMIS/SCOT, Fire Extinguisher, Confined Space certificates are assets.
This position is located at a remote mine site in Northern Saskatchewan. The shift is a 2-weeks on, 2-weeks off rotation, 11-hour workdays with overtime after 8 hours and on weekends.
The successful candidate must successfully pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test and complete the required training prior to going to site. It is the responsibility of the candidate to get themselves to one of our fly-out points.
