We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and other materials. You will work on a variety of projects, including residential and commercial buildings. The ideal candidate will have experience in various carpentry techniques and possess strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, plywood, and other materials
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, doors, cabinets, stairs, and molding
- Construct building frameworks including walls, and floors
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role
- Proficient in various carpentry techniques including roof construction, concrete forming, drywall installation, siding installation, flooring installation, cabinet installation, etc.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints
- Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools
- Attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship
- Excellent problem-solving skills
