TYCROP is looking for a Supply Chain Manager to join our team in Chilliwack/Rosedale area.
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for the leadership, management, and continuous improvement of the Company's planning, purchasing, inventory control, warehousing, logistics, and supply chain risk management functions. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations & Engineering, this role ensures materials, components, and finished goods are available to support production requirements. The role collaborates closely with Operations, Engineering, Production, Production Control, Sales, and Finance to ensure alignment of supply chain activities with company objectives while minimizing operational and supply risks.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all supply chain functions including planning, purchasing, inventory control, receiving, warehousing, and material logistics.
- Develop and execute supply chain strategies that support operational and corporate objectives.
- Establish departmental goals, priorities, and performance metrics.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction, inventory optimization, and operational excellence.
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support company mission, vision, strategic objectives, and growth initiatives.
- Develop, implement, and maintain supply chain risk management strategies to identify, assess, mitigate, and monitor risks affecting the supply chain.
- Manage supplier capacity planning and long-term sourcing strategies.
- Optimize warehouse space utilization and material flow.
- Manage and administer the annual supply chain budget.

- Experience developing and implementing business continuity and contingency plans.
- Knowledge of trade compliance, contractual risk, and supplier governance practices.
- Ability to prepare and present risk assessments, mitigation plans, and executive-level recommendations.
Education and Experience:
- Certified member of Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP)
- Certified member of Supply Chain Canada (SCMA)
- Professional designation in Risk Management, Operations Management, or Project Management considered an asset.
- Post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Leadership experience managing planning, purchasing, inventory control, or warehousing, cost reduction, process improvement, project management, international trade.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive supply chain experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
