Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred but not mandatory, as training will be provided.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely entry and processing
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Ensure food safety and sanitation protocols are followed during food handling and serving
- Assist in food preparation and kitchen support as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, tables, and service stations in compliance with sanitation standards
- Manage guest inquiries professionally, providing excellent customer service throughout their visit
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during shifts
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a busy environment
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cashiering, billing, and upselling techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced restaurant setting
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
- Kitchen experience or food industry background is advantageous but not mandatory
