Esports Content Creator - Student Work Study job opportunities open to full-time Fanshawe College students who qualify for the Work Study Bursary program.
This opportunity is supported through The Work Study Employment Program, which is designed to provide work opportunities to Fanshawe College full-time post-secondary or post diploma students with a demonstrated financial need.

- Students at Fanshawe College must be a full-time registered student, and meet financial needs assessment criteria
- International Student must have a valid Work permit.

Summary
The Esports Videographer will be responsible for filming, editing, and producing a variety of video content to promote FSU’s Esports program. This includes highlight reels, match recaps, behind-the-scenes content, promotional videos for Esports events, and coverage of tournaments or player interviews. Content will be featured across digital platforms including social media and the FSU website. The role may also involve scriptwriting, working alongside the Esports team and communications staff, and supporting live streaming setup where needed.
This is a part-time Work Study position designed for full-time Fanshawe College students.
Job Duties
- Film Esports practices, tournaments, and related events
- Edit and produce video content for social media, website, and promotional use
- Create highlight reels, match recaps, interviews, and behind-the-scenes features
- Collaborate with the Esports team, Communications staff, and FSU departments
- Develop storyboards and scripts for video projects when needed
- Assist with live streaming setup and basic video capture for broadcast
- Ensure video content aligns with FSU brand standards and promotional goals
- Organize and archive video footage for future use
- Maintain video equipment and report any technical issues
- Attend and document Esports-related events on campus or online
Requirements
- Must be a full-time Fanshawe College student approved for the Work Study program
- Experience with video camera operation, editing software, and basic scriptwriting
- Ability to capture dynamic and engaging footage in a fast-paced Esports environment
- Reliable, punctual, and task-oriented
- Capable of working independently and meeting deadlines
- Knowledge or interest in Esports and gaming culture is an asset
- Works well under pressure and ability to meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Excellent attendance record
