Popular Car Wash is seeking a dedicated, sincere, and highly motivated Car Wash Manager to oversee high-volume facility operations. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires flexibility and mobility. You will lead by example on the floor—helping the team detail vehicles, maintaining equipment, and resolving customer issues independently—while also providing operational support across multiple locations as needed.
If you are an autonomous leader who can manage large teams, troubleshoot equipment, and handle traveling between sites with minimal supervision, we want you on our team.
Key Responsibilities
Multi-Site Management & Travel
- Multi-Location Oversight:Ability to manage, monitor, and support multiple facility locations when required.
- Mobility:Willingness and ability to travel between different sites to audit operations, cover management gaps, or assist with high-volume periods.
- Maintain consistent company standards across all assigned locations.
Team Leadership & Scheduling
- Manage, mentor, and schedule a robust team ranging from 15 to 50 employees(including detailers, line workers, and customer service staff).
- Create efficient weekly schedules to ensure optimal staffing during peak and off-peak hours.
Hands-on Operations & Quality Control
- Lead by example: actively assist the team with car detailing and base car wash operations during busy periods.
- Quality Assurance:Inspect vehicles before they leave the lot to ensure they meet strict company standards.
Customer Service & Resolution
- Interact with customers in a polite, professional, and friendly manner.
- De-escalate and resolve customer complaints independently and on the spot with minimum supervision.
Equipment Maintenance & Flexibility
- Perform daily maintenance checks and handle minor equipment repairs when required to minimize downtime.
- Be available to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekendsas business needs dictate.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience:Proven management or supervisory experience within a car wash, automotive service, or high-volume retail environment is required.
- Team Size:Demonstrated experience managing a large team (over 10 employees is a must; managing up to 50 employees is highly preferred).
- Travel Requirements:Must possess a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle for travel between different job sites.
- References:Must provide solid previous employment references(verifiable).
- Autonomy:Strong problem-solving abilities; must be able to handle customer complaints and site issues with minimal oversight.
