JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a BC certified teacher to take on the role for Learning Support Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year.
Please include Teacher Regulation Branch status in a cover letter. Candidates with experience preferred. Short-listed candidates will be contacted for an interview.
As we are a school within the Catholic School system, we are seeking preferably someone with a similar faith background, as teaching religion is part of the position. Practicing Catholics with connections to their parish are prioritized.
St. Pius X is a Catholic Elementary school located in North Vancouver with a vibrant and collaborative staff community. We are seeking a dynamic, faith-filled and highly organized Learning Support Teacher to join our team for the coming school year. Experience in classroom teaching and supporting children with a variety of exceptional needs through the development and implementation of IEPs is expected along with the skills to work collaboratively with staff, parents and administration. Working closely with the other Learning Support teacher on staff, the successful candidate will oversee the placement, support, and supervision of the education assistants on staff. Course work and experience in inclusive education is necessary.
