Job Title: Millwright Maintenance Technician
We are currently seeking Millwright Maintenance Technicians with industrial manufacturing experience, preferably in a food production or food processing environment. Maintenance and automation experience is considered an asset.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, the Millwright will safely perform quality maintenance work to ensure optimal mechanical performance of the facility, including:
- Repairing and replacing mechanical components and machinery
- Rigging and slinging equipment
- Troubleshooting mechanical systems
- Welding repairs
- Following hot work and lockout/tag out procedures
- Maintaining and troubleshooting hydraulic systems
- Must have own tools
Qualifications
- Strong safety record and work ethic
- Red Seal Millwright certification preferred (other trade/engineering backgrounds with proven experience may be considered)
- Experience in food manufacturing or fast-paced production environments preferred
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Reliable, accountable, and team-oriented
- Ability to work AM or PM shifts.
